As one of the international companies to take up space within the Multipark at Plumbago Business and Logistics Park, Xylem will be growing into a larger logistics facility to accommodate the consolidation of numerous business units within the Gauteng region.
The warehouse development forms part of Plumbago Business and Logistics Park which is an ongoing logistics development on the R21 in Pomona, Gauteng, and operated as a 24-hour monitored estate only a few minutes from OR Tambo International Airport.
As owner and developer of the park, JT Ross Property Group is delighted to be in a position to provide Xylem with ongoing property solutions as the dynamic technology company innovates and accommodates demand within their organization.
“We are proceeding with a contemporary new two-phase warehouse for Xylem, which will not only satisfy their growth, but also allow for a second tenancy in due course” said Graeme Green, Executive Director at JT Ross Property Group.
“Our vision within the business park has been to try and ensure that we can accommodate tenant growth and to have had Xylem not only take up this option, but also consolidate their operation from other offices, is a testament to the success of Plumbago Business Park.”
The newly designed 11 000 square meter head office and warehouse facility includes ample height for storage and distribution as well as executive office and administration areas. The warehouse spec includes testing facilities for both their pumps and water solutions. JT Ross and the associated professional team on the project have delivered a number of high quality logistics facilities within the park already and look forward to completing this turnkey solution for the client. Xylems expansion was facilitated by Broll Real Estate.
Xylem is a leading water technology company that delivers smart solutions throughout the cycle of water, from collection and distribution to reuse and return to nature.
