As Cornubia Industrial Park has grown from strength to strength over the past five years, so has one of the original warehousing tenants, Digistics.

Digistics forms part of JSE listed Supergroup, a supply chain partner of choice for several FMCG companies and a nationwide logistics, strategy and technology solutions company which has grown significantly over the past two decades.

In a pioneering move, Digistics established its main distribution hub in Cornubia Industrial Park with an 8000 square meter refrigerated warehouse in 2013, the first in the new Cornubia business precinct. As land owners in the area, JT Ross Property Group were well positioned to develop the bespoke facility for Digistics.

In an expedient move to consolidate and accommodate further growth, Digistics have engaged with developer and property owner JT Ross Property Group again, to extend the warehouse by a further 5000 square meters. The project kicks off in July 2018.

“It’s remarkable to see the second tier of development in the Cornubia Industrial zone after five years. It’s a testament to the vision of Tongaat Hulett Developments and partners who invested in the development of the node” said Grant Smith of JT Ross Property Group.

Tongaat Hulett Developments owns approximately 8 000 hectares of land in the northern growth corridor and works with key stakeholders to advance infrastructural development and real estate investment in KwaZulu Natal.
